3. Gordon Creek Waterfalls
Visiting natural bodies of water is a fantastic way to connect with nature. You can sit back and listen to the water flow or jump in for an invigorating swim in either of the two waterfalls. Go another couple miles past the larger falls and you'll find an old abandoned log cabin that is a real treat on the eyes. Most of the roads in this area lead to adventure, and one of the most important things for you to consider is getting to and from these locations safely. Driving around what is known as the carbon corridor can be challenging, especially in the winter.
