Powerful Engines
A variety of engines are available on the 2021 Dodge Charger trims. The SXT and GT trims have a 3.6-liter V-6 engine. The R/T trim features a 370-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8. Scat Pack models are powered by a 485-horsepower, 6.4-liter V-8 engine.
A 717-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 engine is standard on the SRT Hellcat Widebody. This V-8 engine can accelerate from zero to 60 in a blazing 3.6 seconds. The all-new SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody has a 797-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 engine with an inter-cooled supercharger that produces an astounding 707 pound-feet of torque.
All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with available all-wheel drive. The SRT trims include high-performance Brembo brakes. All models include hill-start assist, electronic stability control, and all-speed traction control.
Cabin Features
The Charger has a classic muscle car interior, with a cockpit-inspired driver’s seat, T-shifter, and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Owners can customize the Charger’s Driver Information Center with a variety of colors and options. Owners can also access the available Performance Pages through their touch-screen display. The Charger’s Performance Pages display race timers, gauge information, G-force, and engine information. You can also access dynameter graphs of your Charger’s engine torque and power during a run.
Modern infotainment amenities include a large touch-screen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, hands-free phone, voice command, and Bluetooth audio streaming. Available features include onboard navigation, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, HD radio, and satellite radio.
Brawny Good Looks
The Dodge Charger is instantly recognizable thanks to its unique badging, flying buttress back window, signature headlamps, and racetrack taillights. Widebody trims also have signature wide fender flares. The SRT’s air induction hood doesn’t just look great, but it also has two heat extractors to maintain engine temperature when moving at top speed.
Owners can choose from one of the many modern paint colors, including Pitch Black, Indigo Blue, Hellraisin, TorRed, Go Mango, White Knuckle, Frostbite, and Smoke Show. You can also add double racing stripes in Carbon, Gunmetal, Silver, Red, or Blue.
The Charger’s standard wheels are either 17- or 20-inches, available in a variety of finishes. The SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody has standout 20-inch devil’s rims.
Modern Driver-Assist Features
The 2021 Charger’s driver-assist features allow you to focus on the road ahead. Available features include ready-alert braking, rain brake support, adaptive cruise control with stop, full-speed forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic high beams.
